I’ve spent quite some time exploring my interests across various art & design disciplines. Each has taught me a different way of looking at the world, and all have been connected by a common thread. I find myself returning to graphic design again and again as a means of bringing life to the projects I care about. Visual composition, color, and mood have been the most important aspects in all of my work. They are the vehicles to carry meaning and force behind these images.
In my free time, I sing, write songs, and produce. Music has been my constant these past 10 years, and a ritual that has helped sharpen my ability to express and evoke emotion with words. Through crafting worlds around my albums and freelance creative direction in film, fashion, and product, I've learned I am at my best when I can infuse aesthetics and narrative with strategy.
Recently, I founded a chili oil company called Lucky Girl Spice. We are a Sichuan-style condiment brand specializing in products made with 100% avocado oil. While this started as a passion project, it quickly turned into a real business with serious fans, a distribution network, and me learning accounting. LGS honors my roots, is spicier than what’s available on the market, and is made with health-conscious, simple ingredients. I had fun putting together the visuals for this project, check us out :).
