iNSOLO is a horror sci-fi short film that follows a housewife stuck in the banality of her existence. Her daily actions fall on a spectrum of slightly weird to extremely in order to rid herself of ennui. An inexplicable rage towards her seemingly doting husband manifests as visions of murder.

In 2021, I came up with an idea for a short film. My good friend, Maya Cueva, just so happens to be an award-winning documentary maker and was elated to direct something different with me. In a matter of months, our small crew wrote, planned, and staged a 12-minute film. I created detailed drawings to plan out makeup and wardrobe (please see slider), Though not everything went according to plan, these drawings provided visual aid for the video and styling crews to understand what the writers and I were envisioning.

Originally intended to accompany my 2021 album with the same name, this short ended up feeling more standalone. We intend to release and screen this Halloween, 2026.
