during my time at Studio WuMo 2017-2019

This was a full-renovation and interior design projected located in Laguna Beach, just paces from the water. The clients were empty nesters who wanted to upgrade their home for retirement. Our scope refreshed every room and focused on integrating the clients' goals of entertaining, reading & relaxing with a warm, mid-century aesthetic. One issue with the previous design was the lack of light and view despite the house's prime location. We created new openings to let diffused daylight into the living room, kitchen, dining, and powder room. The powder room received an especially unique skylight and custom tile wall treatment.

I worked on drafting permit & construction documents, developing casework, designing custom tile and wall paper treatments, selecting materials, finishes & lighting, and developing organization tools to keep CD phase revisions in order and on track.
